Cochlear case study release

For the past few years, GLiNTECH has been involved in major software projects at Cochlear, the Australian-based, world leader in implantable hearing solutions.

Recently, IBM released a case study outlining some of the work done on a project involving the Cochlear and GLiNTECH teams. Specifically, this was in relation to the implementation of a Content Management System and Enterprise Portal.

Using frameworks including IBM's Web Content Manager, the team was able to consolidate 75 international websites down to just 20, all the while tackling complex issues like multilingual communication and country-specific legal requirements - and all through a single platform.

This portal solution is a great achievement and its success means Cochlear's business now has a consistent and streamlined global online presence to act as a launching pad for further growth. And for a company like Cochlear, that's going to mean helping more people hear again - or for the very first time.

The GLiNTECH team are proud to have been involved in such a challenging project that will continue to benefit people well into the future.
